Our challenges to soil steaming
In 1964, we proposed “Thermal sterilization by steam” as a solution for “Soil-infectious plant diseases caused by year-round cultivation of muskmelons” which was a serious issue in the west part of Shizuoka prefecture then with the cooperation of Shizuoka Prefectural Research Institute of Agriculture and Forestry and Fruit, Vegetable, and Flower Promotion Division of Prefectural government.
Since then, our products have been widely used by advanced gardening producers all over Japan. National and prefectural research and development institutes, agricultural colleges and high schools, and innovative companies related to seeds and seedlings and biotechnology have also selected our products.
